New scrolling code!
New PPU hack
Fixed bugs
"dirty tiles" system
Changed version number from "9.99" to "X alpha 1"
Separated NES OAM from GBA OAM, games which do not update the sprite table every frame no longer messed up when changing the screen position in unscaled mode.
Synchronized CHR-RAM updates with sprite table updates, battletoads looks great
Now correctly displays warning when SRAM is full at bootup
All scanline-buffers synchronized together

Any chance on multi-player with another person who has nes ds
Any chance on multi-player with another person who has nes ds
There is no way to communicate between a GBA and a DS. The answer is no.

Hi dwedit. Please fix the next version of PocketNES for savestates (in X alpha 2 version the emulator crashes when I load any of them) and compatibility for Ninja Gaiden 3 (don't work since 9.99). Anyway, it's a great emulator. Thanks in advance!
Sorry. I mean "the emulator crashes when I load any savegame". I use a EZFlash 4.
Hi Dwedit,
I too am having some savestate issues with the latest build of PocketNES you posted.
I am playing Rockman Exile presently, which is a romhack for Megaman II, and it saves and loads fine. However, when I go to play other games, like Mike Tyson's Punch Out!!, Bionic Commando, and Zelda...I can make a savestate, but when I try and load it, my screen turns an off-color of Blue, and the system freezes...forever. Tried deleting all the NES saves on my SRAM and start new ones, fully native and created with this latest build of PocketNES, and the result is identical.
Still, everything is looking up from here. Waited ages for Dig Dug II, so my collection is nigh-complete now. Only Gemfire remains, and that's a miracle in and of itself. :) (damn you Mapper 5. /sigh )

Hi everyone, i used to make rom compilations in goomba. But recently i made a batch file and some "file extension" tweaking for creating several gba files, one for each game. These is useful since i use a supercard, so i can save in real time whenever i need to. Another advantage is having all the roms i want, without the 32MB limit.
Well all that said... I like to know if there is some rom builder for pocketnes that can create several gba files rather than a compilation. The approach i used for making goomba files does not apply with pocketnes because of some header preparation the builder make.

Hi Dwedit. Thanks for the new GoombaGBC. Even Metal Gear is very playable now and without glitches too. But I want know if you have any prevision of a new PocketNES version (with savestates and without glitches I did mention before). Thanks again and good work!
Dwedit sure does, I promise for him that he does. He will get right on it after he is satisfied with his new hobby, Goomba Color. Just let him finish that user application and you will see it again. I promise.
If you want it sooner you should bother MAME Dev, they do not seem that busy these days (it isn't XMAS Ya'know), and they support preservation. Help MAME Dev and they will help you.

I know Dwedit made a great progress in the Gameboy Color emulator in this days. But, it's only a personal opinion of mine: I think the NES games is much better than GB/GBC games. I have more or less 750 NES roms and only 40 GB/GBC roms (30 GB to 10 GBC). Like I said, it's mine opinion.
